Mob Cats

I am the author of the book "Mob Cats." I love this painting. I love the repetitive use of color which suggests this clowder is united in ways unrelated to breed. I love, too, the personalities brought to life---the menacing, dangerous, cat vs. the shy, uncertain one---and the body language contrast, relaxed or about-to-pounce. Nice menage, to my untrained eyes, of surrealism, expressionism, primitivism.
